Advanced Tech Notes: For the purposes of this game, "Advanced Tech" not only allows Uncle Martin an understanding and involvement with such, but may also function as a sort of 10 point VPP in which any ability may be created that fits into 10 REAL points but MUST have some REAL (i.e., notable, immediate) Limitations if the AP exceeds 10. The player may create up to 3 "versions' of this pool to reflect items or sets of items which Uncle Martin may have, each version represents what he can use/carry at one time. |

X-Idgius 12 1/2, a Martian, crash-landed on Earth. He was fortunate enough to come across Tim O'Hara, who helped him out and ended up having the Martian stay with him. He took on the alias of Martin O'Hara and goes as Tim's uncle, and is best known as Uncle Martin. He gets Tim in trouble, though, with his zany antics and too-often-uncontrolled powers.
Sometimes acerbic but with a gentle, if often hidden, side, Uncle Martin wants to concentrate on his experiments and ultimately get home. He has great respect for his good friend, Tim, and while he causes trouble often for him, he'll do anything he can to bail Tim out (although that is such a mutual affair it's not really a DNPC situation).
"Let me explain in terms you'll understand..." "Humans!"
Uncle Martin has a grab bag of tricks as he seems to have a host of supplies from his ship (which, oddly, he can never quite get into shape to get home despite being able to build a time machine!). His scientific knowledge is out of this world - so much so that it doesn't always directly relate to what humans call science (hence his skill rolls are slightly below what might be expected). He is best known for some telekinetic and telepathic abilities, as well as the power to go invisible.
