BACKGROUND
Mrs. Carolyn Muir is a widow and a successful free-lance writer with two boys, Candice and Jonathan, and a pet dog, Scruffy. She bought the Gull Cottage house in Schooner Bay up in Maine, only to find it haunted. But she and the ghost not only came to reconcile their differences but even to fall in love, despite themselves. She also employs a housekeeper, Martha Grant.

Charming, romantic, and elegant, Mrs. Muir is the perfect match for the long-deceased Captain. Yet, just like the Captain, she denies her love for him as he does her...or perhaps in Marginally Powered Sit-Com Heroes this took a different path...
